Good Stewardship For Infrastructure

As Psalm 24 reminds us, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.”

God gifted us a magnificent planet to live on, designed as only he could imagine to sustain us. In return, He’s asked us to steward it well.

It’s up to us as the children of God to preserve the natural beauty and resources He has bestowed on us—as well as use it for the benefit of our communities. American Christians have an unique opportunity to take action at scale to protect the wonders of our creator for future generations.

What the Bipartisan Law Does

The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) contains money to invest in transportation, preserve the environment, and steward the earth.

The bipartisan law passed by Congress makes funding available for communities to invest in practical environmental protection like ensuring clean water for rural families and investing in more energy efficient schools to lower tax burdens on hard working Americans.

Broadband for Rural Communities

The law provides money for rural communities to invest in broadband internet infrastructure. This way, everyone can have access to the internet. This investment makes it possible for people across the country to do things online such as telehealth and distance learning.

Clean School Buses

A substantial amount of money is also available for updating transportation infrastructure so it serves more people and protects the environment.

The Clean School Bus program provides $5 billion to get low or zero-emissions school buses. This helps schools with transportation costs. It also lowers the amount of pollution children breathe in every day.

Rural Highway Repair

The Rural Surface Transportation Grant will make money available to rural communities for making repairs to highways and bridges repairs. These infrastructure updates make communities safer and protect the earth at the same time.

Every step toward better protecting God’s earth and the people who call it home is a step in the right direction.
